Over the last twenty years Will has made films spanning a range of genres, often in challenging and hostile environments. He self- shoots on a variety of cameras, on land, in the air and underwater, but is equally comfortable directing crews in the field. He is an experienced edit producer in both long- form and short- form documentaries.
He has experience of purely observational, or presenter- led stories; negotiating and maintaining tricky access to vulnerable characters; military, law enforcement and criminal; overt and covert filming; marine, subsea and aerial; current affairs, true crime, contemporary history, natural history and adventure.
His work has received two daytime Emmys; Bafta and International Emmy nominations; a Creative Diversity award; and an audience jury award at Gran Paradiso International Film Festival.
Will has full hostile environment and trauma medical training.
